Mortality eSports League of Legends Takes 4th at Black Monster Cup

Monday, Jun 02 2014  -   Gosu Ozz

Mortality eSports recently competed in the Western Digital Black Monster Cup (Bracket), and after fighting it out with other top names in the North American challenger circuit, they walked away in 4th place.  Every match was a hard fought battle for all teams, trading kills and objectives, but in the end Mortality held their heads high, earning a $750 prize. The team also competed in the recently concluded NationalESL EPS Season IX Tournament, taking home 8th Place along with the $700 cash price.

We got a chance to talk with Kandiscrub, the teams new jungler, about how he feels the recent competitions reflect the areas that need improvement, and how he feels being the new addition to the team.

He had this to say:

"I think we need to focus on individual lanes when playing standard, because we frequently fall behind. Secondarily I'd say better communication, because I know personally I kinda quiet up"

"Everything's been pretty great, been feeling really welcome on the team"

Mortality eSports has been performing very well during these events, and plans to improve in the future. We will be watching them with eager eyes in the upcoming Coke Zero Challenger Series, as well as any future competitions.
