Mortality eSports Set to Begin National ESL Premier League on 11 June

Tuesday, Jun 10 2014  -   Justin Dellario

Mortality eSports will be competing on June 11th, 2014 in the Nationl ESL Premier League. They will be competing along with other top Challenger teams in the North American region.

The Premier League, hosted by National ESL (NESL), will have a prize pool of $6,000. First place will take home $2,000, 2nd $1,200, and 3rd $800. The fresh team, having recently undergone roster changes, will be looking to use the NESL Premier League as a proving ground for their newly established team synergy. This promises to be a great opportunity for Mortality eSports to prepare for the upcoming Coke Zero Challenger Series Summer II in July.  After competing in the Coke Zero Challenger Series Summer I and failing to meet expectations as the current third ranked challenger team in-game, Mortality eSports is looking to prove themselves in a crowded pool of talent that makes up the North American challenger scene.

We had a chance to talk with Team Manager and Analyst 'Farley' (@MOR_fARLEY) about how he feels the team is prepared for the NESL Premier League:

"I have high hopes for this newly refined roster. We are looking strong and I hope we can turn that into wins in the ESL Premier League. That would lend the team a good boost confidence before other competitions the Summer has in store."

All in all, this six week NESL Premier League promises to be a competitive series. You can catch the action, casted by popular ESL casters on ESL TV, as well as on several local streams. Make sure to watch this Wednesday as Mortality eSports does their best to make Team Razer proud.
